Katherine & Jeremy @ Notley Abbey, Oxfordshire

Here is the first of my weekend weddings for the blog.  I’ve covered a few miles lately, travelling from Hampshire to Sussex and then to Oxfordshire!  It was a couple of  years ago now that I worked at Cain Manor – part of the Bijou Weddings group – www.bijouweddingvenues.co.uk, so I have been really looking forward to working at another of their stunning venues – Notley Abbey – and will be returning later in the year.  Wow – what a venue – the rooms, location, setting, photography options, food etc etc is really fantastic, not to mention the amazing driveway!  The history of Notley Abbey is also fascinating – it is in fact a medieval country residence and is grade 1 listed with former residents including Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier.

Katherine and Jeremy had  a really relaxed day with 90 guests in total, enjoying drinks and canapes on the front lawn and terrace before sitting down for the wedding breakfast in the attached barn building.  Here are a few images from Notley Abbey.
