Nicola & Mark @ Powdermills Hotel

It was a happy return to Powdermills Hotel in Battle for Nicky and Mark’s wedding yesterday.  This is my first visit here this year and it is a stunning location both inside and outside.  Unfortunately the rain fell during the ceremony but as always the staff were most efficient in clearing a room for me to take the family group shots.  As I finished these the rain stopped and I was able to take the big group shots outside by the pool.  We also managed to take a walk upto the stunning lakes with the help of an excellent pageboy who tiredlessly carried Nicky’s train for her.  After the wedding breakfast the weather was stunning outside and Nicky, Mark and myself headed for the bridge near the entrance.  I have uploaded a selection of images throughout the day, using black & white images and vintage colours but I have to say that I adore the vibrant colours seen in the image taken on the bridge – can’t beat the stunning colours available.
