Rebecca & Nick @ Ardingly College & South Lodge Hotel

I am just so lucky to be a wedding photographer.  I get to spend the day with super people in beautiful surroundings having the best day of their lives.  Yesterday was just one of these weddings.  It started at South Lodge Hotel where the girls had taken over the cottage for the night before the wedding and their wedding preparations.  Rebecca had absolutely covered all the details – from the amazing Phillipa Lepley Wedding dress – www.phillipalepley.com to the Christian Louboutin shoes and the beautiful pashminas for all the girls and cigars for the boys.  After that I dashed across the A272 to Ardingly College for the ceremony. Rebecca is a former pupil at Ardingly College and as such a special license was granted to allow Rebecca and Nick to be married in the stunning Ardingly College Chapel.  Rebecca arrived in a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom and no doubt they both then enjoyed the trip back to South Lodge – a very impressive vehicle.  Back at the hotel Rebecca slipped into some wellies especially for the occasion – always a good idea to allow those wonderful shots down by the lakes. This was really a day of so much fun and laughter as you will see in the many images I’ve added to this blog entry – even Marc the recommended toastmaster of South Lodge, lost his jacket to one of the bridesmaids.  The bestmans speech featured photos to embarrass …. and without a doubt one of my favourite images of 2010 will be the one of the girls jumping for the bouquet!!
